Having been in the Bay Area for 15 years, I have seen the diversity of culture and the beauty of our communities, which have added immensely to my perspective on life and our youth. I had the privilege of growing up bilingual/multicultural and attending 20 different schools prior to high school, out of the state of California. My parents worked hard to guide and give me the best opportunities they could afford. The great benefit of attending so many schools is that I have seen the good and the bad in education. I want to bring my perspective on the positive and help my local community through my campaign platform. Having seen a wide spectrum of teachers, I will never forget those that made a positive impact on me, guiding me to become a thriving adult and a proud husband.   I have a wonderful wife (a former elementary school teacher) who created three beautiful boys that will very soon be in the Cambrian School District. She enjoyed her 8 years of teaching and has given me a great perspective from the eyes of an educator. She also sits on the board of our community pool (at Doerr Park) and we keep each other very involved because we care deeply for the community that we have been privileged to be members of for over 7 years.  As very active parents we understand the value of family and community. I want to help keep schools student/family/community-centric, with an emphasis on learning how to be your best self. I will have an open-door policy and want to hear any new ideas.
